Leading video games developer and publisher NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc. announced today that development for Tales of the Abyss, the latest installment in the popular role-playing video game series, is complete and scheduled to ship nationwide on October 10, 2006 for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system. “Tales of the Abyss is the most realistic game in the franchise to date, allowing players to impact the Tales universe by making them a part of the action as the story unfolds,” Yoshi Niki, NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc.’s Product Group Director said. “We are pleased to deliver an epic Tales experience to fans.” An epic tale and deep storyline, Tales of the Abyss follows the life of lead character Luke fon Fabre, the sole heir to a family of aristocrats, as he learns of friendship and sacrifice that could ultimately save or destroy the world.
