Jet Star
Race over 4,500 feet in the Machine Passage level under a time of 2:00:00 (Air Ride mode).

City Trail: Ride The Dragoon
In City Trial, first complete the checklist mission "Fly through 5 mid air rings" in the City Phase. Then, assemble the three parts of the Dragoon (found in Red Boxes). You will now be able to ride the Dragoon until you are done with the stadium.

City Trial mode bonuses
There is a random ability upgrade in one of the buildings. Also, if you break a bunch of trees, there is a hole you can drop down into. Inside are underground tunnels.

City Trial: Fly long in the air
Go to City Trial mode and select "Free Run". Use the Modified Star and go off the ramps. Balance in the air to stay in the air longer.

City Trial: Open holes in the forest
To open the holes in the forest, pass over them slowly or stop on top of them.

City Trial: Secret flower
On top of the castle, at the highest point there is a pink flower. It does not do anything, but you can reach it with Modified Star, Dragoon, or by flying off the secret garden.

City Trial: See all vehicles
In City Trial, go to the tunnels and look around to see an area with all the vehicles. Go to the volcano and blast up to the secret garden. Then, get off your machine and move the camera slowly in a circle. You should see all the machines
aboveground.

City Trial: Stadium
The high jump and long jump are best done with the Wheelie Scooter. Just select them from the stadium menu.

Dragoon
To unlock Dragoon in City Trial in free run mode, in the stadium (air glider), fly more than 1,300 feet; in the high jump, jump higher than 1,000 feet; and in the City Trial mode, fly through the rings in the sky five times or more. Dragoon pieces are in the following locations. Note: Pieces may not be in their places when playing a 6 or 7 minute game and certain events may change the location of the piece.

A (Head):
Near/inside the volcano area.

B (Body/Wings):
Near/underground the forest area, or near the mote of the four story glide area.

C (Feathers/Claws):
Beach/Castle Halls area or in random watery areas (mostly near the coral trees).

Formal Star
Finish the Frozen Hillside level in time attack mode with a time under 3:14:00.

Freeze game
When the random event "Air Ride formation approaching" occurs, hit the formation with your vehicle. The game will freeze.

Galax in AirRide Mode
Complete 100 laps on any level.

Get off Board
Hold A to charge up, then hold Analog-stick Back.

Air Ride: Go faster
Before you start air ride mode, go to the game settings. Set the "Speed Help" to "Strong". When you do air ride mode, set the CPU on level 9. If you stay behind them, you will get a boost.

Air Ride: Wheelie Scooter
Do any course and on the last lap start in last, then win.

Special Events
In City Trial mode, there are several events that happen where you can do something to gain lots of powerups. Here are some of them:

When the giant U.F.O. comes, go to top of the volcano and cross the bridge, entering the volcano. You will be lifted to a sky tower high above the city. When the U.F.O. flies below the sky tower, drop down onto it and you will find several powerups.

When the giant pillar comes, just destroy it, like it says to.
Whenever Dyna Bird comes, she is always near a ramp. When you have the ability of flight, fly off the ramp and hit her head. Once you've done that enough times, Dyna Bird will fly away, leaving behind many items.

Whenever Tac comes, run into him to make him drop items.

Beanstalk Park: In free run complete 1 lap on the Winged Star in under 01:00:00
Celestial Valley: In free run complete 1 lap in under 00:57:00.
Checker Knights: Complete 2 laps under 02:40:00.
Fantasy Meadow: In free run complete 1 lap under 00:21:00.
Frozen Hillside: In free run complete 1 lap in under 00:58:00
Machine Passage: Finish in under 03:10:00 in Time Attack.
Magma Flows: Race more than 4,800 feet in less than 2 minutes.
Results Screen: Finish with your lap time's last two digits the same number.
Sky Sands: In Time Attack mode finish under 03:10:00.

Ride a Hydra
Sometimes in city trial you will find some weird green pointy stuff. Collect all three of them and you will ride a hydra. It cant go anywhere but if you boost it up all the way then you will go super fast. Note: The green pointy stuff can be found anywhere-even on trees.

Hydra holy car
To get hydra in free run mode of city trial you need too collect 3 parts this is how you get them:

PART 1 = break all dilapateded houses in one game(the iron blocks before the light house)
PART 2 = beat in total 1500 enemies of kirby melee.
PART 3 = beat more then 150 enemies in destruction derby(part 1 and 2 are in all the games of kirby melee and destruction derby)

Legendary Machine Parts
Look for red boxes in out of the way spots on the track and run over them.

Get Off Machine
In city trial mode, hold A to charge up and then hold the control stick down. Kirby will jump off his machine.

Unlocking Legendary Vechicles in City Trial
Use this cheat in City Trial and ONLY City Trial! To use Dragoon in Start Mode, go and smash every red crate you see! Most will have items like bombs, swords, and wings but, sometimes you can get Dragoon and Hydra parts inside! (They are both legendary vechicles). When you find a piece,(which is floating and glows) pick it up like a normal item. When you all 3 pieces of Dragoon (or Hydra) you transform into it and you can use it just for that round. To unlock Dragoon in City Trial's Free Run, you have to complete tasks.

Part A: Jump 1,000 feet or higher in City Trial's High Jump.
Part B: In Start Mode, fly through the rings in the sky 5 times or more.
Part C: In City Trial's Air Glider fly 1,300 feet or further.

You now can use Dragoon in City Trial's Free Run!

Brown Kirby in AirRide Mode
Use the wing star to beat Zeroyon Attack 2 under 30 seconds.

Galax in AirRide Mode
Complete 100 laps on any level.

White Kirby in City Trial Mode
Build the Dragon and the Hydra in one match.

Green Kirby in AirRide Mode
Eat three swordknights and then beat a race.

Purple Kirby in AirRide Mode
Beat a two-lap race in Airoon under 2 minutes 30 seconds.

White Kirby in AirRide Mode
Beat a two-lap race in Vallerion under 2 minutes 30 seconds.

Purple Kirby in City Trial Mode
Destroy an enemy vehicle five times.

Green Kirby in City Trial Mode
Use the cannon to destroy an enemy ten times.

Brown Kirby in City Trial Mode
Use the heavy star to beat Sandoola under 1 minute 30 seconds.

Wing Star
Win a race while flying. You need to come in 1st.

Shadow Star
Use Quick Spins to defeat 10 enemies.

Bulk Star
Win Celestial Valley in 3 minutes 20 seconds.

Meta-Knight
Accumulate at least thirty minutes of air time to unlock Meta-Knight.

King Dedede
Defeat King Dedede in event stage 24 to unlock him in City Trial mode. Defeat a total of 1000 opponents to unlock him in Air Ride mode.
